To put it simply, the EVR renderer is your best choice.

I was using VMR9 Renderless before but now I will switch to it.

No problem. EVR is especially worth it if you often play MKVs, MP4s, MOVs; or actually anything with H264 video

One thing though, EVR or EVR (C/A)?

If you know your way around EVR CP Settings, use the Custom Preset, if not, just use the regular EVR
You can, of course, always compare them and see which one suites you best
