I am having a problem viewing videos.

I was having this same issue in Vista. It started after I was trying to clean up programs and I delete unwanted unused programs.

I think I deleted something that was needed to view them.

If the video in on the same page I am on and you just need to start it it works fine, but if the link takes you to a video it can not find the page and I get error

Yes it is while on internet

What does the error say?? Also, it will help if you fill out your system specs...

Or is it videos on the hard drive?

Browser is MS IE 8, but did the same in MSIE7.

If I go to say You Tube and the video is on the screen and all I have to do is click play it works. But if I click a link and it need to open another page it will get tab that says "Connecting" and finally comes up and says page not found.

What site are these videos on? Youtube? Can you please post a screenshot of your problem?
