Videos don't run smoothly

Hello everyone...
I have downloaded Video Lectures of Dr. Najeeb from torrent (95 GB total data), I use VLC latest version 2.0.5, but when I play video, it do nor run smoothly, the audio keep on coming, but is paused for few seconds 5 sec - 15 sec may be 20 sec... and then video run it again happen after sometime.. I checked the video extension it is .vlc Can anyone have solution for this bug? Any software in which videos run smoothly without this error??

can you right click one of the video files and select open with ,then select a different media player ,possibly wmp.
hopefully it will open and play better.

if not post a link to the videos for us to check for ourselves.

Try media player classic.
