Hey everyone, I just got a ViDock 4 for my Satellite and I set it up ok, it shows up on the Device Manager and everything. But for some reason whenever I try activating my external graphics card up to a display I get a BSOD. I'm pretty sure it's a driver problem because it keeps citing atikmpag.sys, but I have no idea how to fix this....here's a dump from my last BSOD.

Any help is appreciated!

Obviously caused by your video driver. classic video card reset. Reinstall the driver. It could also be heat, or the card itself

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference

I've actually been using Driver Sweeper, but when I reinstall I come up with the same problem. Could there be other drivers that are conflicting with it?

Could the ViDock have anything to do with it? The graphics card is actually very quiet

Also, do you think it's better to download the drivers from the AMD website or just use the retail disc?

As far as so far

Ok, I wiped the drivers one more time with Driver Sweeper and reinstalled the display driver from the Retail disc. when it was done I got a very volatile extended display. I had control of the UI, but if I did anything that took the slightest amount of graphical power the screen freaked out and eventally stabalized, saying that the Display Driver had failed and Recovred, and this continued until I reboot the system, in which it returned to normal, BSOD whenever it was connected. Here's a dump of the most recent BSOD.
