View Downloads Window

This says how observant I am. I am guessing I lost my "View Down Loads" windows months ago and just noticed it.

How do I get that back?

Would you please explain in more detail where you are when you want to view downloads, i.e., Windows Explorer, IE, etc.

Right Click on Start Menu.

Hit "Properties"

Go to the Middle Property Sheet, and look for "Customise" on the upper right.

Hit that. This will bring up the "Customise Start Window" Property Sheet.

Look for "Downloads" and set it to "Display as Link - ON"

Do the same for any other Start menu items tt are missing, but you want to see.

If you re-installed Windows 7 recently, it will always show you a minimal set of start menu items. I don't think there is a way to backup all of your settings for that area, but I use a Windows 7 Management program that does have a way to save and restore system configurations. But it is a paid program, so can't share that.

I finally have an Intel machine that has more than 8GB of Ram.
My ASUS M2N-SE AMD Windows 7 machine is back to Windows 7. Replaced the AMD 4400+ CPU and maxed out the RAM (4GB).
My Core Duo machine is only 2GB of Ram and it is locked to Windows XP in order to run Pro Tools 6.4, which I have been using since 2004.
I have one other Dell OptiPlex 980 tower, Identical to this one,
Wouldn't all the downloads be listed in his/her browser? In Firefox, it's on the History page, and I think they all have a downloads list.
