On my desktop, I have shortcuts to folders I access often, My Doc, Graphics, Downloads, Graphics, Games, etc. When I click on them, I get the entire filing system filling the screen, with the selected folder showing its contents. Is it possible to just see the contents of a single folder, as in XP? I use Classic Shell, and I don't know if that's affecting the view, or if it's happening despite Classic Shell. There are some settings in CS that I don't understand.

There is a "Navigation Pane" button on the Explorer toolbar of Classic Shell. Click it to toggle the display of file system folders in te left pane.

It still shows me the entire filing system. Maybe this is just a feature of Win 7 that I have to live with.
