Virtual PC and XPM?

I see they have a link for both of these programs on the XPM webpage. I have used Virtual PC in the past. I wonder if you need both in this case if your interested in installing other OSes, are you limited by XPM with just XP?

You can install other OS's with the Windows Virtual PC addon, see Shawn Tutorials for setting up a fresh VPC in Windows 7.
