Please, help me!!!! Suddenly, my folders appear to be empty!?
Hy
I have a big problem, i don't know what happened, but after i install the WebCamMax 5 program on my Acer Aspire One D255, windows 7 home premium, i record a test .avi , and when i go to the destination folder to see the recording, i notice that the other folders are empty, including the music folder, the photo folder, the document folder, a database from Office and more. I don't understand what happened??????? :(((
Folders title remained, but when i open, are empty.... I scaned my computer, with Avira Antivirus, and nothing appers. I restored my computer 10 days before, but nothing. i go to folder option and enable to view hidden files, and nothign.

Plese, tell me what to do. i search on web, but i didn't find any fix answer.
Please, help me to recover my database, because it helps me on work :(((((((
I unnistall the program Webcam max, i scanned the notebook even with the MalwareBytes, and nothing.
I repet, only the folders created by me, apper to be empty, event de Drive D, shows 5 Gb.
The Windows folders, such Pictures, Music, Videos ..have the files included, but those of my partition ...no!

edit: If, and I stress if, your files are missing, you might be able to recover them. But this would be a last resort. Only if it's impossible to find them using another method.
