Welcome to the windows 7 forums Kuchiyo.

The c drive does have a documents and settings directory but it is only there for programs that might need it to install.
It really doesn't exist, as windows seven progressed from the XP days and now stores all of its documents and settings under your user name in the users folder.

All the users on the computer have a private folder under users where their documents are stored.

One caution when you get a virus/trojan that wants you to press ok, DON'T do it
Most times you can just click the red x in the upper corner of the box.

I would recommend that you run malwarebytes Anti-Virus on your machine to make sure that there isn't any bad guys still there.

Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download is the site where you can download the free malwarebytes program to run on your system to clean up anything.

One thing you mentioned in yor system stats is that you are running windows 7 enterprise. Are you on a corporate network?

Security Essentials isn't very Good do as Rich said and Download Malwarebytes also i Recommend To use Hitman Pro and To Remove Microsoft Security essentials and Use Avast Free Edition and Run a Boot Scan after Malwarebytes/Hitman Pro To make sure everything is gone and if you Really wanna make sure Make a sardu disk and Get some Boot-able Malware Remover here are some links

Avast Free - Avast Free Antivirus - CNET Download.com
Malware Bytes - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - CNET Download.com
Hitman Pro - Downloads - SurfRight
Sardu Disk - SARDU - Multiboot USB or DVD Builder

If you need more help that's what I'm here for

Hope it Helps!

Security Essentials is good. It isn't nearly as intrusive as Avast. It is also lighterweight than Avast. No Antivirus is perfect. That's why there is Malwarebytes.

Well from my Experience Avast has blocked any link that was bad that was a mis click and as far as ram usage goes in my computer Security essentials used 40-50 mb of ram and the Scanning is slow Quick or full its too plain UI and Avast uses a little as 5 mb with two services sometimes even less and when it comes down too a Protection Avast Free vs Essentials i Got Avast hands down wins not to be a no brainer but its not intrusive as you mentioned as far as i can see i would like to know what you think is intrusive about avast and no antivirus IS Perfect but Avast is Up at the Top compared to other companies.

Every time Avast updates, it shows a popup. Every time there is a program update, it shows a popup. The popups are big compared to the Security Essentials popups. Also, Security Essentials has good detection, too.

How is that Intrusive if it is Just notifying you that there has been a update its not like avast is asking you what you allow and what to block and the Detection might be ok in security essentials but its Prevention is lacking unlike avast so no matter what avast is going to win that fight of "Avast vs Security Essentials"

MSE is a fine AV and is by far the most recommended one here. Avast is no longer recommended here as much.

But you should run a full scan with Malwarebytes if there is suspected infection.

Ok, my computer is working fine now :)
