Hi all,

Let say my Computer is infected with Virus..if i have clean formatted my C: Windows 7 does it mean my drive C:,D:,E:, and F: are still infected with virus.

Assuming that you have a virus. The only way to be sure that it is gone is to format the entire Hard Drive. The virus could have been in backups and infected the back up drive and could have been in whatever you use the other drivers for.

It depends on the virus. I would say that there are only about two or so viruses that we would tell you to format your hard disk drive. We could never absolutely guarantee that your computer is infection free, but we probably could clean it for you, without formatting any hard disks. Would you like one of our malware team to ask you for some logs, and try to remove any viruses from your computer?
