Run Driver Verifier for 24 hrs, it will slow down your computer but is a good way to find the offending driver.
Use computer normally or try to run programs to stress different drivers.

Don't much like the lack of information with this method, but you can try it.
If it's the wrong driver it shouldn't install, make a System Restore point first.

Go to: Gateway Drivers Download Center
use: Choice 3: Enter the product name or number directly
Enter: Gateway M-2624U AMD SATA
It should come back with: We have found the driver for Gateway M-2624U AMD SATA ,
Click on it or the 'Get Drivers!' button.

Is the laptop still running hot?
This will cause issues and possible damage to the CPU.
You need to disassemble down to the CPU cooler, remove it, clean with isopropyl alcohol, apply new thermal paste and reassemble.

From your msinfo, it has/had Intel SATA drivers installed - disabled, these won't work.
MS SATA driver msachi - disabled, this should work.
nVidia nForce RAID driver - disabled, maybe? the one needed.
pciide - Boot - Yes, this may indicate it's in IDE mode and not SATA AHCI mode.

Go to the BIOS and check for the IDE/AHCI/RAID mode, see which one is selected.
Your post #20 indicates IDE mode.

Post a new msinfo32 file.

Check you CPU temps with CoreTemp.
Core Temp , check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing.
Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.

Post a new msinfo32 file.

You don't need SATA drivers, your BIOS is set to IDE mode, not SATA (AHCI or RAID), you have the pciide drivers listed from the msinfo32 file in your other thread.
The new msinfo32 file will help.

The temperatures have been idling around 44 degrees Celsius, min 39, max 44.

The temps are good.

It's also showing the Intel RAID driver, MS ACHI driver, nVidia RAID driver,(these are all for the same thing - SATA (AHCI/RAID) mode, only one can be used at a time) all are disabled.
Your pciide driver, the IDE mode for the controller, is enabled and running.
Your 'IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers' drivers are ok, no need to try and install a new one. Could if we found one but, it's not necessary.

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hrs.
Let's see if that comes up with anything.
When it gives a BSoD, post the full BSoD report.

Just for S&G I installed the previous hard drive, and it still freezes when shutting down. I don't know if that helps. (or I screwed something else up).

Had to leave my house for a few hours, I walked into my room, noticed it said 'Windows has shut down incorrectly'. This is at 7:25PM. I'll check BlueScreenView to see what happened.

I used the program you asked before, it loaded completely and told me it made the report successfully, then the program crashed. I hoped it gathered all the info, I guess not.

It's connected to my wireless, but not on the same network as my MacBook. I did have a flash drive connected to it with mac files on it. I also typed everything in this thread, omitting files from the laptop. Here's the BIOS: Photo Album - Imgur
