I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and things seemed to go well. I've now noticed though that in msconfig/boot, startup and recovery etc, Vista is showing as the default, and only, operating systam. Windows 7 doesn't even appear as an option. But system specs says Windows 7.
I mentioned this briefly in another thread on a different topic and someone suggested I might be able to fix this by altering the boot manager (which only shows Vista), using bcdedit. I'm not a novice but I'm not a techie either so if this, or another method, is possible, I'd really appreciates someone walking me through this. Ideally I don't want Vista on my computer at all. Thanks.
