I've done plenty of OS installs but this is a first for 64 bit and Raid.
Raid is already installed on Vista and works fine.
Now when I go to install Win7 do I need to install the 64 bit drivers from a flash drive or can I wait till after the OS install? And if I install the drivers do I lose the data on the Raid drives and or have to reconfigure the Raid?
I've already backed up the drives (not much there) to an external but really just trying to prepare for anything that I will need during the install
TIA

I wish I knew a good answer, but there is a place to add drivers during the install, and of course RAID drivers are the most common.

I have NO experience with RAID, so any information from me is suspect

If you are going from a 32 bit to 64 bit, you have to do a custom install, so I would say adding the drivers would be required. I do not know however if you have to reconfigure the RAID.
