I wondered if there was a similar interactive statistic available for various states in the US so next time renting a car I'd know the most likely areas where fatal accidents could occur.
(I wonder also who would PAY for acquiring this info -- The Local chamber of commerce, Insurance companies, Lawyers etc. It's obviously in public domain but someone would have to collect and collate the data).

I don't know of any such listing, but getting on a freeway will certainly increase your chances of an accident and most accidents occur around interchanges when cars are changing lanes.
