I was doing some year end HD cleanup and found three items in Programs and Features pertaining to Visual C ++. As far as I can remember, I never installed anything like that. I migrated from XP on this machine to Win & using the MS transfer tool. Don't remember the name of it but it worked fabulously and might have brought the items over from XP. Who knows?
The items are:
Visual C++2005 ATL Update kb973923 - x86
Visual C++2005 ATL Update kb973923 - x64
and
Visual C++ 8.0 Runtime Setup Package x64.
Can someone tell me if it is safe to remove these three items?
Thank you very much.
