Solved Visual Studio Express won't install if VS 2012 Professional installed

I have VS 2012 Professional installed and running. I tried to install VS Express 2013 for Windows. The installer runs and claims success but the program apparently is not there. Ran installer again and chose repair. It says successful. (Both times the message is "Restart" whereas Professional installer gave option to Run.)

VS 2012 Pro is in Program Files (x86) as Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0 and the program is deven.exe.
There is a folder Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0 with similar structure but where I expect deven.exe there is no such file.

One thread said Express will run with VS 2010. Lynda.com tutorials say these can exist side by side.

Anyone running both of these??

I run Windows 7 Ultimate on a 64-bit machine.

VS Express 2013 was installed


For me (with VS 2012 Professional) VS Express 2013 Express installed but I couldn't find it. Not in Start Menu and was not named deven.exe as stated in other posts.

For me, it is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7 as WDExpress.exe.

No comment on why and no comment on VS 2012 being in Visual Studio 11 folder and VS Express 2013 being in Visual Studio 12 folder. Can't complain about free stuff.
