I recently had stroke which has affected my vision. Are there any tools or software for Windows 7 that will allow me to zoom for larger printer on my monitor?

Example in IE I can zoom and 150% works very well. I know about the Magnifing Glass but I am not really crazy about that.

What I am looking is something that allow me to zoom in or out when I am working with general programs on my PC such as email (OutlooK 2003), Quicken, Defrag etc. . I have a 19" flat monitor. Going to larger monitor I don't think will help that much.

Any suggestions would allow me zoom would be greatly appreciated.

It's not exactly a zoom, but you can just goto Desktop Context Menu>Personalize>Display, and adjust the type size between 100 and 150%. If you do so, read the note below the settings. You can also set a custom type size with the link on the same screen "Set Custom Type Size (DPI)".

Windows 7 built-in zoom works fantastic and is very easy to use or change as I see fit. :p

I found a very easy way to zoom in browsers. I believe it works in all browsers.

To Zoom larger, use the Control Key and hit the + sign.
To Zoom smaller, use the Control Key and hit the - sign.

You may find this easier than using the Zoom function.

Hi there
the standard Microsoft Intelligimouse will enable the magnify app without ANY 3rd party software being required -- just click one of the SIDE buttons. The Intelligmouse has buttons on EACH SIDE of the mouse in addition to the normal left and right buttons.

Not the cheapest around but has excellent control and is laser operated which gives more positive results.

Mouse looks farly similar to this

Buy Microsoft Intellimouse Optical, Microsoft Optical mouse, Optical mouse, New Arrival White color Steelseries Edition Microsoft Intellimouse Optical 1.1 5 Button Mouse,Brand New, Fast&Free Shipping at Aliexpress.com

Actually sometimes it's a nuisance for me as it often gets turned on by an accidental mouse press-- but it DOES work fine.

Cheers
jimbo
