Solved VLC - is this my problem?

I am not using VLC a lot. But last time I used it I noticed that it switches to "Color scheme to Win7 Basic". I then tried it on a couple of other systems with the same result. Has this always been that way or is that only by me. It never occured to me before.

This is not how it should be.
Please update to latest version, clear preferences: Tools - Preferences - Reset Preferences. If problem continues see if Event Viewer has anything to say (Driver issue? or smth).

OK, will try that. Funny that I have the problem on different systems.

Update: resetting the preferences did the trick. Thanks.
