Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to control VLC Media Player on my PC with a remote control.

If so, what is needed, for the PC?

I have the Logitech Harmony 555 remote, which can control almost anything, so if anyone has a suggestion for something that is compatible with the 555 that would be great.

Thanks,
Paul.

lafargeotte, make sure you have VLC 0.9.9 or newer. Google "control vlc using infrared remote control" and read up on some of the forum posts. 0.9.9 or later look like they SHOULD support an RC..

vert, I suggest you start your own thread..
