VMWare Player forces log on screen account acceptance

Anyone know why having the latest VMWare Player installed, makes you click on your user account at the log on screen after bootup on the Host machine without having a password protected account, when if you didn't, would normally just boot into Windows??

I'm thinking maybe since I didn't set up a password with the installation of my guest Win 7 VM..hmm.

I had the same problem and had to fix it in the registry to allow it to auto login to the admin account.

Use this to fix it and enter your user name and save as a reg file.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"DefaultUserName"="Your User Name"
"AutoAdminLogon"="1"

Interesting, haven't had that problem as of yet with VM Player 7 or VM workstation 7. Albeit I will copy this and save the file, thanks in advance if it is needed.
