Is it possible in Windows 7 Home 64-bit to increase the native volume available for speakers. In other words elevate the volume over the defaulted maximum that comes with the software?

I am having problems with the volume when I am using headsets. With all gages set to maximum volume both in speakers control and the actual headset volume it is still inefficient., as in not high enough..

Is there any form to tinker and manually overrule those settings?

I would appreciate any knowledgeable contributions.

Thank you kindly

I found a way of increasing the volume, right click on sound icon in taskbar/click playback devices/
mark your playback device which has a tick/click properties/and you will see this image click enhancements
and enable loudness equalization.
You can check to see if it makes any difference by clicking the preview button.
I just did this myself and it increased the volume quite a bit.
Good luck.
