Volume not working

Hi,
the volume on my laptop works in itunes, but nothing else.
When I go to watch a video on youtube, there is no sound.

Youtube uses the Adobe Flash Player. Reinstall the flash player and see if this helps.

I have reinstalled Adobe Flash Player. There is still no sound when I watch a video
