I have VPN setup on my home LAN using Windows 7 Pro. I can connect from my neighbor's LAN no problem, but I have no access to my home LAN resources including shares on the Windows 7 Pro VPN server. My home router's DHCP assigns me an address from the pool, but when I do ipconfig from neighbor's LAN I have no default gateway. Is there a setting im missing?

I have played with the settings and maybe it will work when i test from work tomorrow. The default gateway still doesn't get assigned. Is that what is suppose to happen with W7 Pro VPN? Am I not suppose to have internet access using W7 personal VPN? Just access to local shares and such?

Can you explain what your VPN setup is like and you connect to your neighbour's LAN by connecting to their wifi SSID no doubt?
