I've set up a VPN server on my Win & machine. Surprisingly, it functioned right away and I was able to demonstrate a connection by a remote workstation.

After only hours, it stopped working. If I look at the Incoming Connections Properties it has changed and has the error under devices "No hardware capable of accepting call is installed".

Unable to make sense of this, I went to another computer and did the same setup of the VPN Server. After setting up ok, this computer now shows exactly the same error!

No amount of restarting, deleting & recreating fixes the problem on either computer.

How did you setup the VPN? Can you link to it if you followed a tutorial or some such?

Did you check the services involved (if there are any)?
Anything in Event Viewer that you can spot?
