W7 and printer difficulties

Hello,

I changed recently my computer and try to install my printer Lexmark Z1400. Found the driver on the web (the 64 one) but I get a yellow indicator submitting a problem on the icon of the printer. It is impossible to do anything with this icon and when I try to solve the problem, Windows tell me "no problem found".

Got an idea ? Thank you, Hl14

Let's start with the easy stuff; is the printer connected to the computer and turned on?

Have you tried the reset (see the first link in my post above) and then reconfigure the printer using either the Wireless Setup Utility or re-installing the printer drivers?

1. Tried a ping, with IP adress printed by printer : send 4, received 4 : looks ok ?

2. When I try to install printer, with IP adress, an error occur "driver not installed, error 0x00000002"
