I was bought a

AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics, 3593 MHz
ASUS PRIME B450M-A
16 gb ddr4.

Spent a week struggling to work out how to install Windows 7 on it using various methods on here.
Gave up & installed W10....
I hate it,done a lot of things to make it more like w7.

Been told by someone that i can install Win77 by using Dvd & pa/2 k/b & mouse.
Can anyone give me advice before i buy them.
else it will be a pc for sale i suspect.

Thanks

Hello. There are 2 ways to install Windows 7 in the modern era. The reason why you can't do it "natively", using a regular mouse and keyboard is because of the Windows 7 installation lacking USB3 support.

The 2 ways you can install Windows 7 on, on modern hardware is by modifying the install to have your USB3 drivers, or do as I used to, and install using a PS/2 mouse or keyboard, as you mentioned in your post.
Though, you'll probably run into the issue where it doesn't accept your USB stick for installation. That you can bypass by manually downloading the USB/chipset drivers, navigating your way to the inf files and seeing which one the installation likes. Hope this can help!

Don't give up. It is actually pretty easy.

I'm adding USB 3.0 and NVME drivers to a Win7 x64 AIO ISO right now!

Are you familiar with TeamViewer?

Can I help you?
