E6600 overclocked to 3.2 ghz, everything working perfectly until about a month ago
4gb ram
W7 x64 retail

General info
About a month ago it started randomly BSOD'ing, and a few days ago I enabled the saving of minidump .dmp files. Tried looking at it with windbg but it seems inconsistent. I tested the RAM with memtest for about 4 cycles with no errors. Tried upping and lowering voltage on the CPU but it was stable for about 6 months before the BSOD's started. So most likely it's a driver related issue although I'm obviously not sure. Also, the BSOD's are completely random, sometimes when idling and sometimes when gaming/watching movies. Can't upload the perfmon log because it keeps "timing out" and doesn't let me save anything (or display anything for that matter).

Many different stop codes with different things were blamed, this might indicate hardware issue. If you overclocked anything, please reset to default setting to see if it solve the problem.
I see that portcls.sys, was blamed in one of the dump with stop code D1 (driver issue most of time). Please update your audio driver or reinstall it.
Memory corruption was mentioned, please download third party called memtestx86, burn it to CD and let it run for at least 7 passes.

I just did another run with memtest (actually, an entire afternoon) for almost 8 passes without any errors. What strikes me as odd is that the errors are usually something different, like portcls and memory corruption. Any other app I can use to give you guys more info since perfmon doesn't seem to work?

EDIT: About portcls, I actually installed a Creative Audigy 2 ZS I found in an older computer with these drivers, supposed to be compatible with win 7 = http://nomoregoatsoup.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/daniel_k-audigy-series-support-pack-3-8/

The website mention that it was not supported by Creative Lab and use it as your own risk, I'm not sure if it is guranteed to run smoothy on your computer. I would suggest to download driver from manufacture site, if there is no version for win7--> or you can run it in compatibility mode
Also as I mentioned, overclocking is one of the potential cause, please reset to default setting if it solve your problem

Regard,

Tuan
