W7P taskbar - some (not all) notification icons blank

Hi experts,

after an automatic update on our PCs (W7P), some (not all) notification icons on the taskbar are missing and most of the ones visible are not clickable. Please see screenshot here:

Any hint will be much appreciated, many thanks in advance!

Do you know what update it was?

You could try a system restore point to before the issue.

Thanks for your swift reply! I'll try to find out what # the update was. The PC in question had not been in use since March until... today. It is running perfect, apart from that glitch(?), and when there's a chance to reboot it, I will try what your link suggests.
