I know this is a legit file. Where should it be located? In the \system32 folder?

If I find it located in the \programs\Process Hacker 2 folder, does that mean I have a security issue?

Is this site/program safe?
How to Fix kprocesshacker.sys Error

I'm getting BSOD's when my account loads my desktop. My wife's account runs ok for a while, then locks up. I can run for extended periods of time in safe mode but have no sound or print, and can't run MS Office while in safe mode.

I'm just before replacing my current SSD with a larger SSD and moving to Win 8.1pro x64. Before doing that, I thought I'd see if there were any quick fixes to a kprocesshacker.sys BSOD. But the only links I'm finding in a Google search lead me to unknown sites with downloadable "fixes".... which I consider suspect.

Thanks Jacee. However, that appears to be another unfamiliar site (to me) with a downloadable "fix". How can I know if that site/file is safe too (as in my OP above)?

I thought in my Google searches on kprocesshacker that I'd come across info that the file was a needed system file, but I can't find that reference at the moment.
