Solved Waay too many problems since I started using Windows 7

Yes, this thread has gotten a little messy. Besides mine, :busted:, there's also what IMHO are unnecessary posts bad mouthing my choice of machine & if I was smart enough to build my own, would I be here asking dumb questions? I'm referring to post #'s 3, 11, 26, 28.

Hey! I was trying to stick up for you (although I either could've left off the last two sentences or written them better). Everyone is different, and if it works for you then you've got what you need.

I think all he's referring to are items that you would start on your own after every boot anyway. If you desire some functionality provided by some program every time you use your computer, you may as well have it set for autostarting because you would likely load it yourself after every reboot anyway.

Glad to help a little. You know, sometimes I'll read a post and don't quite understand the intent of what was written. Even re-reading doesn't help. Come back some hours later to read it and right away I fully understand it. My frame of mind I guess.

Greg helps a lot of people here and consequently posts a lot of info, and I was pretty sure I knew what he was talking about so I just re-phrased what he wrote for you.
