I have a problem with wake-on-lan feature.

Computer simply won't turn on. I have tested it with this utility, which tests if packet got to computer. And test was successful (it said "Magic packet Received"). But if i put computer to standby and send packet, nothing will happen.

I have checked BIOS and Wake LAN option is enabled.

Machine is Asrock ION 330 and according to XBMC forums, people managed to wake this machine without problems. But they figured it out for XBMC linux and i have Windows 7.

What could be the problem?

i have the same problem mate...i have a few pc's and i can wake my xp machines no problem with many different magic packet programs but the windows 7 doesnt seem to want to play...if i send the windows 7 to sleep then it wakes up no problem...but if i shut it down as i do the xp machines then it just wont wake on lan...i have done the same as you and enabled it in the bios and on my lan card, which all supports the wol feature but to no avail.
Any help with this would be appreciated :)
