I recently did a system restore and lo & behold, my favorite wallpaper became the back round desktop wallpaper again. I'm happy, but I can not find the file associated with the image anywhere. I tried 'C' > Windows > Web > Wallpaper and its not listed... Not in 'My Pictures' or anywhere else I can find...
Any suggestions?

I wish you were right but it does not show anywhere in that window... not in 'My Themes', 'Window Themes' , 'Aero Themes', 'Custom Themes', 'Installed Themes'...just not there. And there is no browse button either.

When you do the above can you see the background image in the Window?

If not try changing the picture location at the top to see if it listed under any of them.

If yes make sure it's the only one selected and Right Click it, select Properties and look at the Location.

Make sure you cancel, don't save to prevent changing your background till you locate it.

OK... now that I made a snapshot I had some luck finding it online, but I still can't find the file on my PC!
Thanks for the ideas and help, I've downloaded it and renamed and saved it.

Try this, open regedit and check this key, just don't change anything

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\General\

Hopefully you'll find the value "WallpaperSource" with the path.

EDIT: Now you have it you don't really need to find it on your PC.
