Hi everyone, this is my first post here :D. I've recently bought an Asus N60DP laptop which had Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. I didn't have any problems with it until yesterday: i right-clicked the desktop choose personalise and went to the themes folder so i can change my theme. The problem is that the theme changes (meaning the taskbar and the sounds) but the wallpaper stays the same. I can only change the wallpaper and put solid colors. I went in the theme folder but the images are still there. I right clicked an image and choose the "set as background" option but when i do that an error occurs "This image can't be set as background. An internal error ocurred". I know it isn't a big problem but i would really like to solve this because it's very annoying. Thanks in advance for your help and sorry if my english isn't very good :D

This might be a dumb question, but did you actually activate Windows? It will give you some wall paper problems if you don't...

I think it's activated because when i got the laptop and turned it on the windows was already installed and i only choose the language and set up the internet connection (wireless). Where can i check and see if it's activated or not ? sorry this is the first time i use windows 7.

Edit: i forgot to say that i also did all the updates

LE : FIXED. i just created another user account and it works!!! no more error!

Glad you got it fixed. For future reference, to see if Windows is activated, open control panel and got to "System". Scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see the activation status there.
