So i basically want to allow the Wallpaper slideshow to change Wallpapers every so minutes, but as you can see i have some unfortunate problems, any ideas?

Possibly i disabled some service that i shouldn't had, if there are any associated with this, or maybe a bad windows update?

Hmm, maybe some several months ago (can't say i kept track of it), I'm not a big fan of formatting windows when something breaks, plus no restore point seems to fix it.

Ok, ran it a few times, said it fixed a bunch of files, i rebooted then ran it again to make sure it fixed everything.
After all that, the Slideshow problem is still there :(

is it only when you select my pictures or all places. try saving some pictures to a different location and try that location for the slide show.

Just for the sub-folders it seems, it will read the wallpapers that are on the parent folder.
To be more precise, it will read from any parent folder, but not it's sub-folders.
