Solved want windows games

one installation of windows installed all windows games, but a second only installed 'games explorer', which doesn't work with my configuration. so i need to figure out how to install these games without games explorer, because i don't want to have to find that particular install version, and i don't want to have to reinstall windows. any suggestions

The games are there - just copied this from the MS website:

Games are turned off. By default, the games that come with Windows are turned off, in some editions. To turn them back on:

Click the Start button Image , click Control Panel , click Programs , and then under Programs and Features , click Turn Windows features on or off .

Select the Games check box, and then click OK .
