Solved Warranty on resold items?

Does anyone know when you buy something off of eBay if it still has a warranty if it is a resold new item. Meaning does the warranty begin when you buy the product or when you register the product.

If it is being sold as new, with a warranty. The warranty would begin on the date of purchase. A Guy
