warrock doesnt work on Windows 7

So just letting you guys know that it doesn't work with windows 7, dont even bother tryin it will give you blue screen as soon as you pres the second ok

lol....i could not get Warrock to run on vista

but i can confirm COD4 works on W7 i installed it earlier today, & it went straight on without the need for the compatibility mode runs smooth as silk!!

it just keeps telling me its not compatible with my OS, i tried to install & run it in compatibility mode for XP but it states the same every time.....

i may try it again, now i know its possible......

Its overrun with hackers now.
It wont play on my windows 7 either, but played fine in windows vista.
Its sort of upsetting because i cant play cod5/4 on my laptop. Dont have a good enough video card. And warrock and combat arms worked fine.
Guess ill give ca a try

Sorry for bumping this but i got it to run on Vista, and a bunch of other poeples i know also done it. I've also got it to work with W7, i did it for some weeks ago, but i think its boring cus of the lag and hacker ****

so what u need to do is set Warrock to launch as xp compatibility with admin rights. ALSO C:\Program Files (x86)\GamersFirst\War Rock\Data\HShield\Update\autoup.exe

needs compatibility also and u need to manually run it to update hack sheild DO NOT SET COMPATIBILITY FOR HACK SHEILD just autoup.exe

worked for me even without compability mode, but sometimes i got a blackscreen to death. Now in compability mode XP SP3 there are no problems. If you get kicked by hackshield with the message "hack detected" and you dont use any hack - i really hope you dont - try closing programs like rocketdock, ati tray tool...Here is the thread with a full list:

IT DOES WORK FOLLOW THESE STEPS AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RUN IT:

1.Right click on warrock icon and select properties

2.Then click Compability

3.Then cofigure it to run in "Compability mode for Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1)

AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RUN IT BELIEVE ME I HAVE WINDOWS 7 AND IT WORKS FOR ME

youcan play warrock in windows 7
You just need to gave the permisssion as administrator
updater,and launcher


just get the properties
and select the compatibility to windows xp sevice pack 2
and check the box as administrator.

It will work
