Hello again, i was attempting to install my old EVGA 260 into my backup machine, and i went into the Award BIOS and turned off the onboard Video, well i was not thinking that the 260 needed 2 power inputs, and i am now unable to get back into the BIOS to re enable the on board video, i am getting 1 long and 2 short beeps, signaling a possible video card problem ? i forgot how to reset the BIOS to factory default settings , i would like to get back to the on-board video until l decide on a new power supply ,

thanks in advance

Hello Pantz,

After removing the graphics card, you should be able to clear CMOS to reset your BIOS settings back to default.

How To Clear CMOS (Reset BIOS)

Hope this helps, :)

Hello again , well thanks to Brinks i was able to get my backup machine up and running, another question, i am planning to put my old phenom 2 965 BE into my backup machine, with the EVGA 260, i currently have a very old antec 500 PSU, which is due for replacement, since i am adding a CPU and Video card.

Any suggestions on a new power supply, i have limited fund, but i would like something that can handle the power of the new CPU and GPU

Thanks in advance

The EVGA 260 requires at least a 500 Watt PSU with two 6-pin or 6+2-pin PCI-E connectors.

I'd say nothing below 650 Watts for a PSU to be safe, but be sure to use the PSU calculator below to add in all your other hardware to see what it recommends as well.
