Interesting stuff! Thanks for posting this, Airbot. I had no idea that manufacturers even had formal dead-pixel policies. It seems that Fujitsu-Siemens (now Fujitsu o'course) don't have a policy. I've been a bit unlucky with Fujitsu (my favourite manufacturer) in that I ordered an LCD, and when I got it, there was a row of dead pixels. Sent it back, got sent a replacement, which had two pixels permanent stuck on red! So I just gave up, and kept the LCD. Ah well. Anybody got any idea how to fix it? I've had the LCD a while now, and one of the pixels has sorted itself, but the other one's still playing up.

Hmm. If any of my monitors had dead pixels, even a few, I'd probably be pretty upset. I mean, I spent $200 on a 24 inch ASUS, which has an amazing display. $200 should get me a fully functional product, and if it has dead pizels, it isn't FULLY functional, now is it?
