Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio with a built in Web cam that started not working today. Neither the utility that came with it or Skype could connect with it. Then I got a BSOD that said IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL.

Thanks for the assistance. The last driver update got rid of a problem I had with the Virtual Wifi Miniport adapter, but I could get the NVIDIA driver to work. When tried via device manager, it said it was up to date and when I tried via the NVIDIA website it said it could not find compatible software when I tried to install it. And the webcam is still not working. Any ideas?

Uninstall the webcam from device manager and reboot. it will be listed in Imaging devices!
