Solved Web Camera not detected

Hello, I have a Sony Vaio VGN FZ 38 M laptop with its own web camera (SXGA) which unfortunately cannot be used after the format. Instead of a "Sony Webcam" the system detects a "USB Device" which can never be used. I hope you can help me, let me know if any additional information is needed. Thank you.

Hello Chara,

Have you already installed your web cam driver? If not, you can get them at the link below from Sony. It only has Preinstalled Drivers and Utilities for Vista available though. If the driver doesn't install properly in Windows 7, then you could try using Compatiblity Mode on the driver installer.
