Hi guys,

I have no problem opening web pages in my browser, but whenever I click on a link embedded in some software (as simple as clicking Online Help or About This Software link on the menu), the resulting web page opens in MS Word, totally messed up. Does anyone else have this problem? I found a few tutorials on the Net how to get rid of it, but apparently they refer to other versions of Windows because I can't find anything similar in Windows 7. Could anyone help me please? It feels like a real handicap!

Thanks a lot!

Looks like some of your file associations are defaulted to MS Word. Is it also happening to .htm and .html files?

You can try this tutorial

Restore Default Windows 7 File Extension Type Associations

If you could not resolve the issue with the above tutorial, try uninstalling MS Word, check whether the problem is resolved or not. Reinstall MS Word again later and check again.
