I was using window vista on my sony vaio VGN-FW11E laptop before i formatted it. And i installed windows 7 on it, but to my surprise the webcam is no more working. pls help me out. i have surfed the internet to get its webcam driver but i could not get one.

Welcome to Seven Forums. After doing a search on Sony's site their appears to br a lot of models with that mmodel # including additional numbers and leters we might need.
You could also try ( if the web cam shows up in device manager>go to device manager>right click on the device>details tab>drop down menu>select hardware id> Copy and Paste the hardware id string. And we can use it to fins a dirver. Please let us know 32 or 53bit Seven Thanks. Fabe

u can also do one thing just open your device manager then choose the web cam and goo to update driver option..
then windows will automatically select the driver which suits best 4 ur webcam.
