I am trying to play Webex recordings which have been downloaded into my my into a CD. It asks me to down load the ARF file first and then play. I down load and install the file it does not play. The operating system I am using is windows 7. Is this a problem for windows 7 because if I do the same to another compute which has an XP operating system and it plays.

Hi Sitshela and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

Do you have the 32-bit or 64-bit version of W7?

Is this the link that you are using to download the file?

Download the WebEx Player to View Recorded Online Meetings and Webinars

Enter Windows 7 into the search box and click on Search. The article that I think is relevant is WBX43981.

Thanx much for your answer. It appears windows 7 for now is not compartible with webex recordings even if one downloads arf player. However I am still having problems with windows XP in that indeed the recording is playing but there is no sound from my machine. If I play a normal audio cd I do not have a problem.
