Solved Website knows my location.

Sometimes when surfing the web, I get taken to a website (that) I didn't want to go to.
And it has my location. (the suburb I live in.)

How do they do this?
It's sort of not right.

I have excellent Antivirus and Firewall.
I have my cookies settings set to accept First party cookies, but block third party cookies. ( and never allow session cookies.)
And I delete and overwrite all my temporary internet files constantly.

And I constantly run Virus scans/Malware/ Rootkits, and reboot.
And ensure everything is up to date.

With the same Internet Connection but with a different machine, see if the same thing occurs, this should clarify whether the fault is within the machine or with the ISP. Check Resource Monitor for any suspicious network activity. Do a scan with Spyware Blaster and make sure you had the latest virus signature with the Malware Bytes Anti-Malware Scan. I personally had clients which had the same issue, no virus is detected, but suspicion is clear.

Well there was a manual file creation option too there.
Why are you so leaned towards IE?
You can also use some anonymizer or ip hiding tool to fake your location.

Leaned, because it is familiar to me.
I am not trying to be scary, merely I don't like intrusion.
I didn't want to fake nothing.
A bit of privacy, that's all I want.
But I suppose that's real mad. If you're going to go on the internet, well..what can you say?
Crooks, liars, devils, cheats, ..who really wants to be among them?
It's such a bloody struggle just to keep ones computer going, I am thinking, is it really worth it ?

Well i guess its a nice time to go leave IE (for now) and move on to Chrome or Firefox.

Or if you still want to stick to IE, you can blacklist that site or have it not run scripts.

And no, with basic surfing skills and common sense, you can have your pc keep running w/o any problems... Or dual-boot linux and do all your surfing needs from there. Its safer than windows.
