i have this message on my WEI page:

Caution: Based on the results of the WinSAT Disk assessment, your system drive may have slower response times under some workloads. Performance results will depend on the specific applications used and the amount of memory available. If your experience is satisfactory, no action is needed.

What caused that and how to fix it?

Thanks.

Hello Headshot,

I should think its just down to the fact you may have a slow hard drive and it just means if you were using a app or program that is heavily dependent on the Hard drive, the app/program will be slow and may become unrresponsive, possibly Photoshop would be one such program.

It should'nt be anything to worry about. If you are bothered, just upgrade the hard drive at some point to something slightly newer. (Just be sure to check its Sata, should be but double check).

What is your WEI score, could you post a screenie of the results, please.

Lucky

Hey Lucky, thanks for your reply.

Is it because my C:\ partition is to low?

Here's my WEI:

Well, your hard drive is fine actually as that is the same score i get for mine.

Are all your drivers up to date?
Oh, and Windows?

It did only caution mind, do you do any hard drive intensive work at all?

Hey Lucky, i have found the solution. I think it was because my C: drive has too low partition. I increased the partition. Now that caution message is gone.

By the way, i have this note:
Notes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The gaming graphics score is based on the primary graphics adapter. If this system has linked or multiple graphics adapters, some software applications may see additional performance benefits.

Is not normal? Does everybody have it?

I don't know about the HDD situation, but that 1GB RAM is troublesome; I'd recommend at least 2GB for windows 7.

Not enough. You need at least 4 if you run a couple of programs daily.

I agree with Rap33042 1MB is working but would be better with 2MB of RAM minimum.

Glad you have it sorted out for now.

Also to parabellums comment you do not need 4MB of RAM.
If it were a desktop that would be an excellent suggestion.

Mike
