I tried the 4 GB 800 x 2 for a few days and my PC was fast, like always, but the winsat mem is the same for both 7GB and 4GB I'll just keep the 7GB I think - pity to waste RAM.
I also purchased a new power supply - 500W, 50W less than my old one - but this one has two fans (9 and 6) and has more SATA power connectors - my old PSU had 1 only and I had a poor quality connector running my "scratch" drive (for downloads and frequently modified files) - and one 12 fan - my PC is running quieter too.
I've decided to use all my RAM - mixed or not the winsat mem is the same; it does not make a difference.
