Sis's computer takes a long time (11 to 15 minutes) to boot or restart so I cleaned it up and reset a few things. Now will restart in 128 seconds. Still too long but could not find anything that I thought to be the cause. I decided to completely uninstall Avast and now the computer boots in 43 to 49 seconds. Reinstalled Avast and restart times go back up to 128 to 150 sec. Totally cleaned Avast off computer again using their clear out program and installed Microsoft Security Essentials with no issues. Reboot the computer and it takes about 3 to 4 minutes and boots a default profile and creates a new desktop. I can log out and log in the original profile just fine but cannot boot to the original profile. Any suggestions
