Weird "distorted" random BSOD - may be something to do with Wifi?

Hi, I've got this very weird random distorted BSOD which occurs randomly, as far as I can tell, when I'm connected to a new Wifi network. I.e. when I connect on my laptop to my home Wifi network, this doesn't occur - only when I connect to any new, previously-never-been-connected Wifi networks, whether it's secured or unsecured.

I've completed the instructions and attach also the files generated from the instructions.

Finally here are my specs:
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- OEM version installed on laptop on purchase
- Over 1 year old laptop, though the problem really began I think 2 months ago

I've also run the full extended diagnostic test that came with the system and it looks like all hardware passed, especially RAM, the video adaptor and a full surface scan of the hard disk.

If anyone could help with this, much much appreciated! This is incredibly frustrating problem, especially since as far as I can tell, there is no specific trigger for it.

As follow up, in case anyone was wondering what I meant when I wrote earlier about the "weird" BSOD I'm getting, here are some snaps of the screen when it happens... It almost feels like I've accidentally crossed into The Matrix...

Memory faults.
Try re-seating the memory module(s) then run Memtest86+ from Memtest.org.

Follow the mfg instructions for removing/replacing memory modules. In most cases, the main battery must be removed. The small "button cell" battery can remain in place.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I did as suggested (re-seating the memory modules), and then ran the Memtest 86+ for 5 passes with no errors detected (see the pic I took of the screen after running it overnight through 5 passes).

But unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem - the BSOD problem still happens, randomly as before. Do the dump files and/or the pics of the crash screen suggest any other areas I should check?

A lot of the information I need is in the report and .dmp files but I cannot look right now due to lack of time

My first thoughts from your symptoms and the graphical corruption you show in the pics would be drivers ?

Have you been to your laptop makers website and checked for BIOS updates and also chipset, sound, network lan and wifi, and gfx drivers ?

OK, done that, and updated the Wifi driver (which was the only update available from the manufacturer website). Was actually quite happy seeing that since it looked like the problem might be linked to Wifi card or something. Unfortunately, BSOD still occurring..

I still haven't had time to look over your .dmp files but looking at your screenshot from memtest I see you have a samsung memory stick and a Kingston stick :shock:

this is the first thing I would suspect and although memtest is an excellent memory stress test it does only detect badly faulted memory and cannot stress memory like windows does :huh:

I suggest remove one of the memory sticks and then try your damnedest to make your system crash and bluescreen ?

If it does then remove that stick and try the other on its own ?
