weird mouse and keyboard jam =\

Hi guys, I've been running windows 7 for almost 3 months now, no problem at all, until recently, my keyboard and mouse would be disabled for a few seconds... then it came back normally working... from time to time it would jam awhile, then after a few seconds, I'd say 5-7 seconds then after that it would resume back to normal.. anyone know what is the cause of this weird scary problem? lol.. thanks in advance..
